The Radio Frequency Directorate Tower project will serve as the head office of the representative agency of Vietnam’s Ministry of Information and Communications that is in charge of the general management of radio-wave transmitters throughout the country. With the objective of designing a homogenous and modern office complex on Tran Duy Hung street, an important and strategic axis in Hanoi, the concept design proposes a dense, cubic volume; an imposing yet light tower faithful to the image of the Client, and reflecting the combination of the current and the novel. The awarded design program consists of a new 27-floor tower standing on top of an existing 10-floor building, surrounded with walkway plazas, green spaces and ample internal traffic lines
